Laguna blue w dark blue interior( 1 of aprox 1000 cars with headrest seats) Has white soft top, no hard top it did come with the hard top option though
Has original 327/350 with muncie and 3:31 posi. All the numbers match and compnents appear to be original to the car. Runs and drives exel. Only original components missing from the car are the original knock off wheels, I sold them ( I know!)
Paint is a 10 footer, looks good but could use a paint job to be perfect. No rust on the frame.
I just put all new rotors, rebuilt brake calipers, supension and steerring, new shocks, new vette brake products rear fiberglass spring and adjustable rear strut rods. New carpet. New tires and wheels, to much more to list.
$$$$$ numbers please!!
CGFlyer61 Jun 13th, 08, 08:29 PM 44-46K from what I've seen on Ebay lately.
I would drive that car. Very nice.
Camaro69RagTop Jun 13th, 08, 09:36 PM Beautiful car. Love to have one of those. I think that was the best body style of all the vettes. I was dreaming of owning '65 when I bought my Camaro but was out of my price range. Back then they were only in the $20k+ range
RobSS1113 Jun 13th, 08, 10:57 PM Hey Travis, I've never really known the values of corvettes because they've been so out of my reach.
BUT I will give you 10 dollars if I can just look at that car in person and sit in it for a sec.!!:D What a Beautiful Corvette !!!!!!!
ocean1 Jun 13th, 08, 11:20 PM Gorgeous car! I think you can get more than 50 easy at least here in San Diego. Prolly more like 60 +

$$$$$ numbers please!! ?????? huh to much to list sounds like alot of missing original components regardless nice car for sure 40-45 my guess
skipdaddie Jun 14th, 08, 09:15 AM If that were mine and I were selling it, I would spend $2K on a set of reproduction knock-offs and ask $55K. You usually see aftermarket wheels like that on the lower end and nom mid years.

Thanks for the compliments from everyone!!
I meant things like-- factory correct dated spark plug wires, tie rod ends, ball joints, wheel bearings, trailing arms, I rebuilt the carb. Things like this. This is what I meant. I stated what was missing--Knock offs. I also kept EVERYTHING I took off.
Thanks again!
KevinK7 Jun 14th, 08, 11:40 AM beautiful car, ...I agree with the comment about getting a set of original style wheels. My first reaction when I saw the Torque Thrusts was that it's a 'hot rod'. Sounds though that you have most of the original and numbers matching parts. Definitely a nice looking car, ...the numbers mentioned above seem about right...
thorpe67RS Jun 14th, 08, 12:26 PM Im not sure what its worth. But damn, thats a nice looking car. My brother in law had a 66 Convertible Vet, all original. He sold it about 6-7 years ago. Before i had any cars and i wasnt into Vettes and couldnt really appreiciate at the time what it was. Of course now is a different story. He sold the car to a friend for 18 grand as he needed the money in a hurry. I definitely could have bought it for that. What an idiot i am... :clonk:

Thanks Kevin! Its no hot rod for sure, this thing is bone stock except for the 17" TT2's I had to have a set of these and I wanted them on this car. In my opinon they make the car POP with the Laguna blue paint and the side pipes. I have been thinking about the knock offs, I may buy a set for the car before I sell it and keep the TT2's for my 67 camaro:thumbsup:

Hi Craig, Thanks for the compliment! I thought I would never get to own a mid-year and then this opportunity arose. My wife and I had a new baby boy last july and we have not been able to drive this car together much at all. She says lets sell this one first. Its gonna kill me, but I know she is right. I know I will never own another one. These are awesome cars to drive! Im glad I at least got to own 1 for a little while. If you get the chance again and are able you gotta own one of these cars:thumbsup:
