I have an '84 Z28. The tach hasnt worked since I got the car 7 months ago. Last week I bought a used cluster and switched out the tach, still nothing. I think there is something going on beyond just having a bad tach. Is there any particular area or wiring I should inspect/replace? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, is there a better repair/breakdown manual than Haynes?
