Jeff, A Z11 with A/C makes it rare indeed. Can you provide the label numbers from the seatbelts, please? That will verify them.

The leather wrapped steering wheel and rear mount antenna, were likely added.

We are going to want pictures here :D

Hi, I would say about 45-50K... The better the condition then obviously a bit more.

Rare? If it was a 396, 4-speed, then a bit more rare... 67 Z/28 are Rare.

45-50K at the most... need to see pics....

Oh by the way, nice find....

Even though Z11s are very desirable and valueable I don't consider them rare. Actually they are the most common 69 vert out there. If you lined up every 69 vert made every 4th or 5th car would be one. If you want one there are always some to pick from. And before I get blasted I did say they are desireable and valuable.

1st of all, nice find, assuming you "stole" it as you seem pretty happy with your purchase.

A nice car for sure if it has not been touched over the years, but as pointed out above already, the 3,675 made make the Z11 Indy Pace Car replica one of the more popular (even though they couldn't give them away when they were new) versions, as stated nearly one in 5 were one.

Typing With Every Word Capped, Makes It Very Hard to Read, You Might Want To "Fix" That

Here is an online value guide:

http://www.manheimgold.com/car_lo.html

plugging all the info in gives this result:

1969 CHEVY/CAMARO INDY PACE CAR Z-11 Dsp/HP Eng Fair Good Exc Show Loan
2D CONVERTIBLE (3,675 mfd) 350/295 V8 16,000 26,000 46,000 70,200 H 23,500

enjoy the car and the hobby, it surely helps some of us cope with all the BS that goes on in life that we can't change (high gas prices, stupid politicians, etc)

(oh, one other small thing, the spell checker is your friend, use it as often as you can :) )

http://www.manheimgold.com/car_lo.html Those prices are a joke. Also, some of their production numbers are incorrect. They state that there were 26,000+ 68 Z's produced, when in fact, there were only 7,199 produced. I realize NADA prices are too high, but in my opinion, Manheim prices are too low. JMO. Jeff,
I'm not trying to be a jerk, but everything you wrote does not mean anything since you did not say what you paid for it. I am not sure why you wrote all that without saying what you paid??
Keith is right, the 69 Z's are not that rare.

But, what counts is if you are happy with it. Is it what you want. And obviously since you spent money on it, you felt it was worth it. I don't see to many people get a "RARE" car today at a steal. Have fun restoring it. Enjoy it!!!! Let us know when you get it done?? This is a great hobby, isn't it?

Can any of you Pacer experts chime in here? Have you ever seen a Pacer with a rear mount antenna? If this was an available option on a Pacer, it would not get the rear spoiler. I have never seen a Z11 with no rear spoiler. Anyone know of another with rear mount antenna?

Hylton, I've never seen a rear antenna Z11 either? It's not uncommon to find SB Z11's in driver condition needing TLC for 20-25K IMO. I agree the Z11 is a fairly common 69 convertible RPO. Whats rare is what is contained in RPO Z11 i.e. factory cowl hood and deluxe houndstooth iterior for example. It was a bang for the buck where dealers were concerned although the colors were a bit bold for daily driver use of the day. Also keep in mind that only 13,000 or so big blocks were produced for Camaro in 1969 and some indications point to some 500 to 750 of the 3675 RPO Z11's carried them. Thats a significant percentage when factoring the remaining convertible and coupe production.

Jeff, thanks. there should be a model number the label too. can you get that? I see you have deluxe belts from the date code. If the belts are located under the side panels, then they are front shoulder belts. Pics here http://www.camaros.org/seatbelt.shtml

Jeff, on converts, the front sholder buckle side is attached to one of the bolts holding the top mech, the tongue side of the pair is bolted to the trans tunnel along with the buckle side of the lap belts. Hope this helps!
