Besides the $400-$500 dollar Holley what would be a good street only Carb. for a
67ss 396? I'm talking orginal or aftermarket to me it is about enjoying the ride and not always tuneing the jets.

Edelbrock Performer carb is nice. 750 cfm is probably what you would want. If your motor is a real stomper though you might need something bigger and they have an 800 or 850 out now too.

I posed the same question several weeks ago, and several people mentioned the 3310 Holley. Haven't tried one out yet, I'm hoping to find a nice one at the next swap meet.....KZ
