Fellas, I have replaced the seal three times, and it still leaks. What next?

I just went through this. Replace the shaft too. I got one from the local junk yard out of a busted trans. for free. I had to take it apart myself.

Mine was the same way on an old trans i had. Its not in anymore but i really wanted to pull the shaft and use it for target practice:D

If it is deeper, you can "sink" the seal alittle more rather than being flush with the edge of the case.

You also might be able to take some emery paper and polish the shaft.

Run the car every week to keep oil in the t/conv rather than have the oil drain back through the oil pump into the sump.
