1. I have a 68 with a 396 in it and muncie four speed. I installed a hurst comp shifter without using an installation kit because I was told the linkage already mounted to the tranny would work. Problem: My shifter rods seem to be randomly jamming up where I can't get into any gear without forcing the shifter.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm just checking to see if you think it could be anything else before I go buying the Hurst Shifter Installation Kit for my Muncie.

2. Does anyone know if the coated gas tank from Classic Industries is made in Canada? I called them and they don't know. I'm asking because I heard these repros are better quality.
