Ok here goes. I have a 68 camaro 350 small block with 600 holly carb, dart heads, msd kit. My battery is mounted in the trunk and I seem to be having a ground problem. my exhaust touches my rear fender a little and I am getting an ark where the two meet in the real pass side. I have the batt. grounded to the rear frame, the motor grounded to the front frame, do I just not have the correct ground set up? it will not run right, I am sure the arking and the ground issue is really messing with the msd as well?

thanks:confused:

Move your engine ground to the firewall.
One of the bolts that attaches the inner fender support to the firewall will work good.
Use a star washer between the cable and the sheetmetal.

The front subframe isn't really part of the electrical system, and unless you have it welded on with subframe connectors, it is not a secure ground.

Awesome, thank you.

I do not have it welded.
