anybody know if there is some special way to re-assemble the tail housing to the main body of a saginaw. I rebuilt the tranny completely and the center shaft with the gears is all complete and attached to the tail housing. when i try to slide this into the main case, it seems likes some gears bind up, and i cant get it to slip in, it will go all the way to the last gear and then get stuck. is there any particular gear it should be in, or way to arrange the gears so it will go together? thanks for any help, this is the last step besides install to get my 327 camaro going again :D

got it, turns out u have to take the input shaft assembly off, and slide it into the side of the case. very hard and time consuming but finally i got it together. now if i can only find an easier way to get those snap rings on ;) haha
