The Weiand blower manifold has provisions for temp sensors in the rear only.I purchased a meziere 1 inch spacer that fits between the manifold and t-stat housing and has two npt ports.First off,the mechanical temp probe requires a seat in an adapter to tighten and is to large for the spacer.Even drilling and retapping will not solve the issue, seeing how the temp probe is long and will contact the t-stat.The cyl heads also have no provisions for a temp sensor.Anyone else had to deal with this?

George,
I had the same problem with the temp. probe on my AutoMeter temp. gauge being too long into fit into my cylinder head. I called Jegs and they hooked me up with a longer fitting to insert the temp. probe into. Works great. Call Jegs and tell them you need this extended fitting from AutoMeter.

I printed your reply to my question and will have my parts guy drum up the extension thru Jegs or Atech.Keep in mind..this puts my sensor probe on the rad side of the t-stat,but I have six .125" bypass holes drilled in the outer ring of the stat.I could mount the stat on the rad side of the spacer..but would require it to milled so the stat is below the o-ring seal in the t-stat housing.Seems to me ,Meziere should have thought of this and incorporated into its design.

I agree, a company with a good reputation for quality such as Meziere should have put more thought into the design of that spacer. I've also seen a couple of posts in the forums here where people voiced concerns about the Meziere electric water pump not have any provisions for a temp sensor in it.
