I just bought a 69 drag car rolling chassis with what appears to be a 70 Camaro rear 12 bolt with the perches relocated (E90 code). I believe the width is the same.
It appears to have 4.11 gears (posi).

I was thinking of pulling it to place in my 69 RS street car. Will it hurt the value? or should I just put a 8.5 10 bolt in it?

I think the second get in wider than your 69.

Just bought it and selling her already? Do you buy it for the rear?

He already said the perches were relocated and put in a 69. The wheels will be 1/2 inch further out. Will work depending on the backspacing.

I put a 70 rear in my 68. Relocated the spring perches too. I run 235/60R15, lots of tire to fender clearance.

As far as hurting the value, keep the old rear and have it available when you sell th 69.
