I am preparing for a SB to BB swap in a 69 and figure I have most parts needed. But can anyone tell me if the Small Block Clutch linkage set up will work on the Big Block or can be modified to :confused:

I see in the Rick,s catalogue the Z Bar is different ? The BB going in is a ZZ502 with a Classic 5 speed clutch kit (non hydraulic).
Any info would be appeciated :)

The Z-bar is different.
I'm not sure on the other peices.

The BB Z-bar is approx 1 inch longer to accomodate the shift to the passenger side when using BB frame stands. The lower push rod is also different, as are the return spring set ups (which is irrelevant if you run headers, because you'll use a pipe clamp and spring anyway).

That's about it. The Z-bar is longer and the lower clutch rod on a BB is more adjustable.
