I have a 1967 Camaro with factory air and a 327 with a 2bbl factory carb. Actually the whole car is original and stock. The A/C blow good and cold but I cannot shut it off. The heat also works fine when I move the slide on the environmental panel. When moving the top slide from cold to vent I hear the correct sucking sound (vacuum I assume) but when I move it to "off" and the blower switch all the way up the blower still blows cold A/C just very slowly. I've tried to figure it out in both park and while driving. I've only had the car a week so I'm not familiar with everything yet. The owners manual says (paraphrasing) the A/C will always be on and work with the heater for a type of all in one system EXCEPT in the off position. I already ordered the wiring schematics and build book. Just driving me nuts it's not working the way it should as it is interfering with me doing a proper tune up. Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks all for your help. I got it figured out. Believe it or not, it was the blower shut off relay. I used this web site to find the problem... http://www.gvtc.com/~rlaa/ This guy has awesome schematics on just about everything!

Hey Chris,
FYI. Buy the Factory Manual and you will have all that.

I ordered everything I could get my mouse pointer on. The factory manual has helped me with some other stuff as well. Much better then any Mustang manual I've had. Thanks!
