I did a search, but I figured I'd repost to see if anyone has had problems since....
Just got a set of Hedman 65001 headers and will try to install them on my 454-powered '69. The car has P/S and a small-block AC setup. I do have the correct GM frame mounts for the big block. Does anyone have any installation tips?

my car doesn't have ps or air but the headers went in from the top on the passenger side with no problems. The drivers side had to go in from the bottom, it took some twisting and turning to get the into position, but it wasn't anything difficult be patient.
I like the fit of these headers, no clearence problems on either side.
good luck

Are there ANY inexpensive 1.75", four tube, long headers that fit our '67/'69 cars equipped with P/S????
I bought Hedmans 68190's years ago before I decided to install P/S and I read they won't fit my '67, that's why I ask. (They are still new and never been installed)....
AND I have asked this in the past..

Cool, that sounds like good news so far. Mobiletools (Bob) has a set of Hedmans on his BB/AC/PS '69...I'm waiting to hear which model header that is.
Pdq, I talked to Hedman's guy last week and he was certain there were no full-length 1 3/4 headers that were compatible with PS. That's according to his book, though. I can't imagine why a 1 3/4" header wouldn't clear the PS, when the 2" is supposed to clear it.
