This morning, ups brought me a new laptop!
(with a serial port that I hope will talk properly to the holley efi!)

Couple hours later, someone brough me a summit box with some header gaskets.

And a lil while later, the software update for my GPS...

And then, a big box from JetHot with my new headers!!!
And ya, I wimped out on the headers... after months of waiting for some custom wizbang super headers, I decided they were vaporware, I got a set of what I had, #2451 hookers comps, in Sterling from jethot. I'd rather have a 3/4" tubes, but these at least I know they fit, and will bolt in without reworking the exhaust system.

I think I need to take the rest of the day off work and go play!!!

LMAO, doing my best, as always!

I gotta wonder about these guys who claim to be able to pull a motor, or have a TKO out and back in in 2 hours... I got home at 3:30, and just buttoned up the passenger side (except for the spark plug that broke when I dropped the header on it...)!

Good news is I didn't scratch it at all.

Bad news is the clollector is a good half inch away from the reducer :( So much for them fitting because they are the same part number. Really hoping the other will off the same amount, with the H pipe, it's kinda hard to spread the headpipes... :(
Hope I got another O2 bung, gonna hafta weld that into the drivers side collector...

ok, almost 2 more hours gone. Got to enjoy some good steaks. Drivers side is out and as soon as I fold the laptop I'm gonna weld the O2 bung in.
Wish my new Jack was bigger, and I wish I had a pair of those mongo jackstands. Drivers side has to be almost verticle to come out, car's gotta be high.
I'm remembering why I ALWAYS strap em to the hood hinges before dropping the motor in!

Done. Finally. Sure sounds nice without any exhaust leaks!
