I found a 1970 Chevrolet Nova in a garage 2 streets over from my grandmothers. Frost green colored, black interior, literally no rust, garage kept since 1979. 250/powerglide. No rips or cracks in interior. Has not seen light since 1983 when the moved it over to the other garage. This car is a second owner car. I found this when taking a walk to the gas station to get ice and noticed it covered in boxes and towels and lawn equipment. Well the lady told me she wants it out of there but she doesnt know a price or the value. Personally i think its worth atleast 5000.00 because its completely solid and clean. Only problem is i dont have the kind of money and im thinking of others ways to pay including cleaning all 3 garages for her (since shes 78yo). My opinion on the value may differ hence why im asking all of you.
thanks!

5K seems like a lot for that car. If it has been sitting in an unheated garage for that long it needs a lot of work and $$ just to get it driveable. Start real low with the price, worst that can happen is she says no.

The third generation Nova's are popular and if the car is as solid as you say it is worth the 5 grand figure you quoted. The black interior makes any exterior color change good.
Good idea on helping clean out the garage, who knows you might find a Hemi Superbird in there.

Well i went and looked at it again today and its definitely going to need some TLC... Wet garage for years(needless to say how it smelled). The lady is open to any price but her neighbors are trying to make this car sound like its a Deuce and really its a car thats going to need lots of cleaning and lines and gasket work. Im thinking of throwing out 650.00 and seeing what she says.
