I saw this on ebay and wanted to see what others thought of it.
It's going for $800 for now.

She's and ugly by*atch that's for sure. If all things check out and it is what they say it is I hope someone finds it in their heart to save her. I am sure some will say that they ahve seen worse and saved it.

I like the FM radio through the ashtray option. I had one on those tiny FM's in a car once.

As Robert Plant would say, that car needs a "Whole Lotta Love"

Wow what a shame.... would be good for someone who wants an original drive train for thier car... That car looks like it could be saved. Send it to Mike's CC

Wow. And it has the window sticker as well. Too bad. I love the comments about people emailing him telling him its not a real SS because of the oil fill tube. lol

That car is worth about 5k at least IMO.

That car is rougher than mine, and mine's in a gazillion pieces!

It's not far from where I live, but the wife would have a heart attack if I showed up in the driveway with that rusty beotch on the back of a flatbed. Hmmm - I noticed it has a white bumble-bee with a black interior - I was under the impression that the stripes usually matched the interior colors.

Pretty sad to see a complete, unmolested car in this condition. I wonder what it looked like when it was parked 25 years ago! Probably an interesting story behind it - it would fit right in on one of the "Decaying Musclecar" sites. :(

Even though I don't smoke, the fact that the cigarette lighter is missing kinda kills it for me. lol

Whats it worth restored?

I'd guess 25k - 35k depending on the quality of the restore.

Nope. The stripe was based on exterior color. Light colors got a black stripe and the dark colors got the white stripe. Marina Blue and Bolero Red were the exception when equiped with a black convertible or Vinyl top. Then they got a black stripe.

The stripe on the car in question is correct.

I agree:

Deluxe Int with headrest bucks, tach w/ console guages, 12 bolt, matching # SS drive train, Bill of sale and P-O-P..............

A worthy project !

Not a headrest car; also be nice to see the stampings and documentation.

Yeah it does have a lot going for it for sure. But man..it is a project and a half. That thing is a mess.

I wish I had some extra dough and a place to store another project. This is one I'd love to save from returning to nature.

Sold for a bit more than I thought it would.

Somebody has an expensive project on their hands......or needs to find more value in the usable parts than I can see.

Good luck to the new owner......lots of work to do.

I guessed it was worth at least 5k. I would have paid maybe up to 6.5k for it. I think the owner overpaid, but not by a large margin.

My bet... this will be used as a #ed donation to a car in much better shape... or to a remanufactured body at the very least. Either way, it's good to see that someone cares enough to put in the effort and hopefully one day shows us the pictures.
