I'm having a brain fart... sorry.

Idle mixture screws on a Holley 750, or any carb -
do you turn clock-wise for less gas (LEANER)
and counter-clock-wise for more gas (RICHER) ???

I think I got the turning direction correct but the terminology backwards.

Holley's and Demons are that way. Now there is an exception with a few Holley's (emissions type) that it backwards.... but will/should have a tag on mixture screw.
