: Rotor Dimensions?

I'm confused. I have a 69 350SS coupe w/ front disc, rear drum brakes. As I am doing the front reassembly, I'm looking at the rotors to see if I need new ones. Mine measure .910 in. which seems way too thin. The posts I read on here and other places say discard rotors at .965 in. Are mine that thin (over machined)? Were there some rotors for single piston calipers that were that thin? Is there a number cast into the rotor somewhere that says how thin it can be? They worked fine before I disassembled.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
John

The original rotors did not have a minimum thickness stamped on them.
I used to work in an auto parts store and the manufactures did not start stampng rotors until the mid to late 70's.
All auto part stores should have a file on minimum rotor thickness on file.
