I have a 91 camaro with a 305 TBI. What is an easy upgrade for this model?

I have a 91 camaro with a 305 TBI. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to make it faster with out dropping a new engine in it.

305's in general are kind of crappy engines.. I had one in my IROC and tossed it in favour of a 350.
If your determined to stick with the boat anchor 305 I'd start out with headers, gears [depending on what your rear end is]... intake.. exhaust..

Five speed on the iroc or z28 had a few extra ponies in comparison to the automatic i assume same the rule follows the rs model. Regarding the rear end ratio the rop codes should give you all the info on the differential and the rest of your car; so do some research. But beforehand a full tune-up is essential and for lower numbers on the track. Good luck

if you are going to stick with TBI you can tune it for better performance. Also the cam in TBI cars iir was not a good choice for performance. You can also swap to TPI
