I found a guy that has a aluminum intake manifold sitting in his garage.
39324724 BBL Holley1969302290 (Z/28)
Thinkin about picking it up for the collection. Any ballpark figures on what this item is worth?
Thanks,
JP

400-600 .If you are buying just to have it and don't really need it I wouldn't pay more than 300. Then you may have some upside

You might want to check it closely. Those early manifolds are easily damaged such as cracks and stripped threads. Not to mention it's 40 years old! Condition has quite an impact on value.

What the heck is that waterneck from?
Someone has sand or bead blasted it... it will have to be refinished... $250-300.

Not sure on the water neck. Looks like it is as old as the manifold itself.
This is exactly how I bought it.

Looks like the standard vanilla GM waterneck to me. If you're fussy, a coat of Chevy Orange paint and you're good to go.

blasted intakes are always worth less than the original finish, untouched ones
blasting them takes off all the rust and corrosion but destroys the original cast finish
the big $ manifolds are "survivors"
