Well my old battery operated wall clock bit the dust and it's time to get another one. I want an electric one that has something to do with cars or motors and such. Where can I find a good one. Pics of everyone elses would be good too.

Time doesn't matter when I'm in the garage. So in other words I'm clockless.

Just got this for my dad. Amazon.com: AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR WALL CLOCK: Home & Garden (http://www.amazon.com/AMERICAN-MUSCLE-CAR-WALL-CLOCK/dp/B000M6CYEM/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1214873867&sr=8-2)

I was given that one as a gift a while back. The sounds will catch you off guard every now and then, especially if you're focusing on something.

Don't know it it's screwed up or the battery was going down, but a couple of weeks ago it was sounding off continuously so I yanked the battery for the sounds.

I have a CAT, as in Caterpillar, wall clock in the shop. Pretty neat, made in the early 60's. Caterpillar the company has offered to buy it.

Found this at a garage sale for a buck. Not a car or motor theme, but where there's cars or motors, there's usually beer.

I have a repo rear body panel that I was thinking of turning into a shop clock. I think I will put the clock movement where the Z28 emblem is supposed to go and maybe put some old taillights in it too that come on.

I have an old ''McQuay-Norris Piston Rings'' clock. It was old back in the 70's when I bought the repair shop it was in. When we moved to IL the glass face was broken. Still keeps good time though.

If I post a picture of my shop wall clock the Admins will remove it :disco:
My 'other' one is a 70's Snap-On issue, with the 'lady' being slightly more dressed - maybe they'll let me post that one :D
Here's one from the same series on eBay - http://cgi.ebay.com/Snap-On-Wall-Clock-Women-in-Bikini-Car-Wash-Mens-Garage_W0QQitemZ110263439811QQihZ001QQcategoryZ393 3QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l126 2 - she's wearing quite a bit more though :o

Check Harbor Freight, They had the coolest looking exposed gears chrome looking clock that was only about $20. Any gearhead would be proud to display in his garage.

I did some computer work for a Mechanic friend would had a Snap on "limited edition" wood clock ... it was #'d 1 or ???? and it was missing the clock mechanism. I asked him if I can have that for what I did for him and he said sure.

It looks like this ... sorry I have not taken a picture of it but I grab this on off the net. Looks like this but mine has a car not a girl

Buy a nice cheap battery operated clock from Target or Walmart.
Take a nice picture of your car, add in 12 numbers and replace the clock face with your car!

I've done this for several car buddies, it really looks nice.

When I was workin at Moroso they used to sell air cleaner clocks, degree wheel clocks and even a water cooled vw valve cover clock. Thing was they used the reject parts from inventory and added a battery operated clock mechanism. Pretty much anything that didn't sell became a clock! You wouldn't beleive the amount of crap we threw out on a daily basis.
Ohhh the stories I could tell!
