Ugh looking to build a new house and my 69 might have to go.

RS SS 350, M20 tranny, 3:31 gears
Matching #'s on everything (except carb)
protecto plate to back everything up

Bought it 3 years ago from a guy in Atlanta and since then have taken it back original fathom green. The guy in Atlanta had close to 60k in reciepts that he gave me and I have put over 6k in it since. What do you think it is worth?

How do I post pics on here off my photobucket site?

Use the IMG Code at the bottom of each photo; Ctrl - C and then past it here.

Matching numbers 69 SS350 4-speed coupe with docs (I think the DX1 stripe is going to hurt) seems to be $40K to maybe mid $50Ks right now, but it looks like they make take a few tries to sell.

Looking at the pictures it seems that the car HAD the DX1 stripe, i think its painted Fathom Green now with the hockey stick stripe.

yeah I took it all back to original and the hockey stipe. I would like to get 50 out of it with all the docs but I havent been checking the market out lately for them. Do you think the new camaros coming out are going to help or hurt the value's of the originals?

The new Camaros will have zero effect on the classic Camaro's value. 4th gen cars will take a hit however. Your car will be effected by the current downturn in the economy. 50K would be tough to get at this time. That would have to be a trailer queen/original everything car for that price.

And low mileage to boot...

I think the new Camaros will increase the value of the 1st Generation Camaros a little bit. Look what the new Hemi motor did for the Hemi cars? Don't get me wrong, they aren't going to all be worth 6 figures like the Hemi cars.

The only thing that will drive up the value of first gens is demand increasing. I don't think fifth gens coming to market is going to have any effect on that. If they do go up it will be the economy not the fifth gen.

Very nice car. I don't think you will be able to get $50K out of it. If it were mine, I think I would ask around $43K and accept anything over $40K.
