I used a hydraulic fitting that I got from work because I could'nt find one either. It looks like your pic but is threaded on both ends. It's brass too so you might be able to go somewhere where they make hyd hoses and they might have one that works.

I got mine from Orielly Auto Parts. I had to look it up in a catalog and they ordered it for me. I ordered a couple extra just to have them.

I use brass fittings from a plumbers supply, they have a bush that clamps inside, descided for home mains pressure hot water copper pipes.

I use those all the time on boats.
Most performance marine shops carry a full line of the various chrome and $$ raw water fittings.
