Here is a link to the finishes for a 67 Z28....

Does anyone know of a single source to find the same information for a 67 SS350?

I am specifically looking for the color of the alternator fan. I currently have a black fan on my (50k mile) car but I want to confirm that this has not been previously replaced.

The link you ref is the best for finish info. The fan is not black. It is natural/grey. Heres a shot of mine restored by John Pirkle.

and John's website

Just looked at the link- never noticed they called for black on the fan..most finishes I found at that link have been applicable other than intake etc...perhaps others will comment..Pirkle not restoring them black (non Z anyway).

The fan in your picture looks black or dark grey to me but not "silver". This is what ricks tells me to use...

Any thoughts?

Yep thats my pic. It is dark grey- natural metal..photo not the best.

You might call John Pirkle and ask if he will sell you a fan- appears to be important to you. Or he has restored assembled complete units by date code and p/n if yours is a replacement. He is very busy.

A junkyard might workfor a fan? The shiny one in your 1st link is not the same- 2nd link not working. Vintage photos and John's resto appear to be natural grey finish for 67.

Thanks!
Here is a picture of mine... I'm quite sure it is original as it is a date / number correct alternator...
