Was there more than one width for the '68 brake pedal when it had an automatic tranny? The pic below shows what looks like a brake pedal from a manual car. So was this a manual car at one time, or did they make a pedal this narrow on an automatic? Thanks

Automatics had the wide pedal. It's hard to say what was original these days. If the shifter cable hole in the floor looks non-original, it was probably converted from manual to auto.
Any signs of auto shifter on the column?

I haven't seen the car in person; only on the web, but it caught my eye as being something that didn't look right. Thanks - Mark

That's a manual trans brake pedal. And normally the clutch pedals shaft goes through it and attaches to the pedal bracket. I wonder what's holding the pedal on? (chopped off clutch pedal? a rigged-up bolt and nut?)
