I only have two sets of timeslips on my site, the before and after. I slighly ported and polished the heads and I had them milled .030. My time increased by a tenth but the track at Atlanta was really dirty from the national motorcycle thing, so I think I would have gone two tenths faster. It also pick up between two and three mph.

I would love to check out your website but it keeps locking up my computer everytime I try. Whatever that popup add is keeps hosing everything up. I would like to hear more specifics about your combo and what type of porting work was done.

There are some fairly good pics of the porting work. Is there another way to post them? Can I just add them to my a reply? Is anyone else having this problem?

Travis, I have the same problem, but only if i click on the url directly. Try opening explorer again (so it goes to your startpage) and copy and paste the URL into the adress. Hope I made some sence, but this works for me. I have to do this with all geocities websites....

I see you are running traction bars...do they help? I was thinking about picking myself up a pair. I currently run 2.2 60's on radials.

Mike,
I was at Commerce last Saturday, too.
I remember seeing your Camaro. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
We had brought 2 Chevelles (red '67 & gold '69) and a white '80 Camaro.
I also thought the track prep could've been better. Might have been the weather, too. My '60 fts were off by nearly .2 (1.79) but my buddy ('67 Chevelle)set a new all time best... 1.54 .

Next time your at the track I'll look for ya. I usually park my truck right at the gate to the parking lot at the front of the lanes (silver 2500).
I would say that the traction bars are sufficient. I can't run my car without them, even with the stiff 5-leafs. I'm planning on going with cal-tracs or slide-a-links when when $300 falls in my lap.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to make my page better, I'm all ears.

I'm not having a problem getting to that link in your first post.
Once in a while, if a lot of traffic hits your Geocities page(s), they'll disable access for a while but no one should have any problem getting to it from your posted link.

I use GeoJunk for my site also and IT STINKS! The only thing I like about it is it's free, it practically sets itself up and there's plenty of space for pages. But it can be slow and if more than a handful of people access it in a short period of time, Geocities blocks access to it for a couple hours. And they don't allow direct linking to your pictures and stuff either. I use my ISP for that because it works. ;)

If you have MS FrontPage or Publisher (even Word!), you can create your own page and upload (FTP) it to your ISP's space that they allow you to use. Then you can direct link to pictures and etc. all you want and they usually don't care how much traffic it gets.

Good luck! You're not alone with GeoJunk!
