On my 69 Z the tachs keep burning up not sure why. Can someone send me a diagram how the tach sould be hooked up?

Look in lower right corner of diagram. Are you running original wiring harness for engine and dash? Brown wire on Neg (-) lead from coil should be running to terminal on back of tach as shown. The other 2 terminal are for pwr to the tach. Might want to try swapping coils to see if there is a problem with the primary side of the coil. | ||
