I wish I could go this year, We had a great time last year!
KC is a gorgeous city, and Randy and the rest of the KC Camaro club made us right at home.

With yellowstone tho, there ain't no way I can get away again.

Randy,

Thanks for posting the info. I've got that Friday off this year so we should be able to make the BBQ. I think my wife and oldest daughter both want to make the trip this year.

Jim,

Too bad you can't make it. Who's tire smoke am I going to choke on then? ;) The Yellowstone trip sounds like a really good time.

Anyone interested in hooking up in Columbia for a road trip to KC that Friday afternoon?

Sorry more of you couldn't make it. I think we ended up with around 140 registered.
It still amazes me that, being invloved with this show since 1992, I still see so many first generation cars that I've never seen before..............or maybe I'm just forgetting more in my old age.

Thank you to the CCKC for putting on this show for 20 years in a row now.

Funny story from yesterday: I talked a friend of mine into coming out and keeping me company since my wife had other plans. We are at the award ceremony and he asks me "What do those different colors mean for the awards?". So I tell him Gold means you have a damned nice car, Silver means your car is very nice, and Bronze means thanks for showing up. So they get to my class and call my name for winning a Bronze. The guy that hands me my plaque says "Thanks for coming to the show". :D

Red 68 with white bumblebee stripe. I was parked up on the north end between a red convertible RS and a red RS coupe. I won a Gold award last year when it was stock. So next year I may try for a Silver so I can complete the tri-fecta.

Yep, the one with "60 ATE" on the plate. I was in the modified class this year. Competition was pretty stiff, there were some really nice pro touring 68s there.
Better than any award, I had a guy with a black 68 (or it might have been a 67) come up and start asking questions about my car. The more I told him about it the more he liked it. He said that it was so subtle with all the things I did to the car, it was like a sleeper Camaro. Exactly what I was going for. He just kept going on and on about how nice my car was. Can't hang it on a wall, but it's the best reward for all the work and $$$ I could ever ask for.

Very nice! Next time look me up. I'll be one of the many running around trying to take care of everything.

Glad you guys all had a great time again this year. Wish I could have made it. Wanted to bring one of my other nephews this year but it just didn't work out. My son doesn't really enjoy the car shows, but my nephews don't have a dad around and I try to take them out to do things like that when I can. Doug(the one you all met last year) and I had a great time the year before and still wear out "Run to the Dustbowl" shirts ;) :beers:

A big thanks to Randy, David and the rest of the KC club for putting on another great show this year.

My personal favorite was the silver '68 SS with the torque thrusts. That is one pretty car.

See you guys next year. Let us mid-Mo folks know when your picnic is next summer and we'll come crash the party. ;)

Contact Kathy (moody blue) on the CCKC board, she might know about your shirt.
Sorry you couldn't make it.
