Thanks for keeping us posted. At least somebody is getting some track time. :D

When are we going to get some updates on the strip only Camaro?

Very good times especially for a daily driver! I didn't see it on your specs page, what stall do you have behind that TH350? That XE274 cam seems to work wonders... I know quite a few cars in the high 11's and low 12's with it.

Well, the strip car hasn't run in a couple of years now. I got fed up with POS parts and crap machine shops. I needed a break from it. I am working on it now, slowly. I'm changing the combo and hope to have some ET's around May, hoping for very low 11's. I would think it should go at least a second quicker than my street car that weighs more. graemlins/clonk.gif

Converter for street car is an 11" Coan Pro Street, flash to 2900-3000. I thought I had the converter on the web page, somehow I missed it.

I probably won't take this car to the track again for a while, maybe Super Chevy. I need to concentrate on the other one. (get off my lazy butt)

Lonnie-

To me it looks like the biggest down fall for the drag car is the pistons (9.5:1) with that 252/258 cam.

Talk about low cylinder pressure :(

Yes, I thought the heads were at 64cc's, ended up at 70cc's. Stall also too low, I was trying to compromise too much for the street. I'm still going to try to get away with pump gas...

Hummm....

I wonder what your compression would be with a set of flat tops???

I think you might be able to get away with pump gas, flat tops, and that same cam.

Congrats graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I remember those days . . . I think you'll hit 11's soon -- you have enough MPH. I think removing the p/s belt and a good launch is what got me from 12.00 to 11.99
