I was looking at this car yesterday for a friend and I saw a couple of thing that did not look rite. The cowl tag has a 9E build date and the break down is 2MG, 4K, 5B. and the VIN is 1242377N3557 ( I think that I am missing the last number of the VIN). I think that a 9E is too late for a 67 car and if it is a 66 date then it is to early for a Big Block car. can some one check the vin issue date for me. Thanks Jerry

The vin needs to be a six digit vin after the N so you are missing 2 digits. If it starts with a 3 then it is not a 67 number as they started with a one. The first part of the vin is 67 but there is an extra number in it (2) though. If that is the vin for sure (minus the last 2 digits) avoid at all costs as it is not a real vin number for 67. For the 4K yes way too early for an L78 and the options list is incorrect for a 4K anyway. There are certain codes on the tag that are mandatory to be an L78 and it does not have them. It also has an option code that you cannot have with a 4K.
