I am installing an aluminum LS series engine. I want to lower the front at least an inch. With the lighter engine, will this make the 1" lowering springs sit higher?

I am installing an aluminum LS series engine. I want to lower the front at least an inch. With the lighter engine, will this make the 1" lowering springs sit higher?
Yep, your probably looking at 80lbs lighter than a gen1 with aluminum heads.
Probably need to clip a coil off to get it back down. An iron block genIII/LS motor (LM7, LQ4, LQ9, L92) would be real close(probably 20lbs lighter) to the gen 1 aluminum head motor.
