I'm looking to buy a am, or am-fm radio for my '69, and I was wondering if anybody knew to look for as far as what years will fit and so on.I don't really need it to work, I just need it to fill the hole and look original.

They came in white, green and blue. I got mine on ebay for about $30 and it looks nearly new. No idea if it works.

AM-FM are very expensive BTW.

Were the green light radios only in the '69s, or are there other years, and cars that would look stock in a '69 camaro?

Green was used in 69 for Camaro, Chevelle, Nova and Impala. I think the blue ones were for 70 and later and, except for the blue tint, were exactly like the 69.

Yes so if your never going to light it up the other colors would look the same and fit exactly the same installed. If the car is for you get the green one so you can at least light up the face. At night it will look cool! :thumbsup:

The '70 wiring harness plug-in to the back of the radio is different than the '69. Could be spliced in if you wanted to. Also the face off of a '69 (green) can be interchanged with blue '70.
