68 camaro with ministarter and points. HAd some electrical issues with old electronic ignition, went back to points. First start and back fired thru carb, timing off ok retimed manually. Went to try again, no start ? Positive cable to starter, and wire from ignition switch to starter solenoid. Ignition wire to starter no volts when key turned. Replaced key swtich, get 11.3 volts to batt on switch at times then it would be .3 when I recheck ? When I go to start, nothing at sol. wire ? I am loosing power somewhere or just have a screwy setup, any help appreciated, thanks Team

Purple wire to starter solenoid should have 12 volts in start position only.
Ignition wire to points, OE design, a yellow wire, would have 12 volts when solenoid is engaged as it comes from solenoid R terminal.

If you have 0.3 volts or less than battery voltage at ign ON position, then I would check the wire route for broken strands at a terminal or bad connection.

If points distributor remains in place, you'll have to install a ballast resistor or refit OE resistance wire to preserve point set.
