Is there an easy way to get that cable out? The part with the octapus spring clip that runs through the floor board. Hell , I wrestled that thing for 2 hours today. I want to save it because it's original
Thanks Team Camaro.

(Not my idea) Put a hose clamp around it to get it started, then remove the clamp. MAYBE?;)

Hose clamp like mentioned or a snug fitting socket to squeeze it together.

Thanks for the info . A guy at work mentioned a small line wrench.

I posted a similar request couple weeks back...
used the "hose clamp".... the socket and ring spanner method work, but jubblee clip worked far easier.

I took a short piece of 1/2" copper pipe, slid it over the "octopus", and pushed it down and out of the hole.

Cool
yeah a fuel line clamp or small jubilee clip (think u guys call them worn drive clips or something, around the base..do up but not to tight enough to squeeze the clips in
Thendrop a small ring spanner over the end of the cable but sits on the top of the outer cable, and tap the ring spanner with a small hammer...knocking the outter cable clip through the fuel line clip/jubilee clip
