Paint will happen this summer. Looking for Opinions. Stay with code CC Ermine white or change. Red interior limits choice. I am leaning toward stock CC ermine white.
Thanks

Black w/red interior, Red w/red interior... jlb307 Jul 22nd, 08, 06:32 PM i have been wrestling with this decision forever. mine's a cc too with black deluxe interior. the traditional part of me thinks keep it true. but the other part of me thinks "boring." make it what you want, don't worry what others think. hey, got any pics? 67for/me Jul 22nd, 08, 08:37 PM I have a pic in my profile. And in my gallery. Thanks for the advice. It seem like a simple question but I will have one chance $$$ to paint. And I want to do it right. 67for/me Phatbudde Jul 22nd, 08, 09:21 PM If it is an RS or SS or some rare car, stay original. If not I love the Red on Red or Blk on Red Dale8346 Jul 22nd, 08, 09:35 PM all the colors for 67 are pretty nice. If you have a car with a lot of options, paperwork or rare option, stay original, especially if you want the most value. If it has no real rarity, or no rarity and in super bad condition, then do what turns you on. Whatever you do, you will wish you did the opposite. Make youself happy. If you can not sell it and you don't like it when you get done, you screwed up. Hope this helps. I saw a cc are last year with a black interior and black bumble bee stripe. It was gorgeous. I would prefer your red interior to the black. Much more rare. Aaron67 Jul 23rd, 08, 06:22 PM I think white w/ red interior would look awesome. Ironman24 Jul 23rd, 08, 06:39 PM Nothing wrong with staying original, however there are viable color options to go with red interior imo. Black w/red interior, Red w/red interior... True! make it what you want, don't worry what others think. Very True!! I think Black w/red interior is a sharp combo! go2fast Jul 23rd, 08, 09:31 PM Nothing turns heads like a bright red Camaro. Higher resale too. LCAC_Man Jul 23rd, 08, 10:07 PM My vote is silver, with red stripes to match the interior. 67for/me Jul 23rd, 08, 10:31 PM That would be cool :D How about black with ghost red strips were you can only see them when your right over it;) Off to google land to try and find one. 67for/me Billy d. Jul 23rd, 08, 11:51 PM I love the white w/ red interior. I would keep it original......... POCKER Jul 24th, 08, 12:06 AM I hve an 69 RS white with red interior. I like it. captcanuck68 Jul 24th, 08, 07:38 AM I like Len's suggestion...would go great with the red interior...and there are several shades of silver. capt rogerh Jul 24th, 08, 04:48 PM I am wanting to stay original so my code is TT which is Capri Cream. This color is not very flashy but 67 is the only year it was used. The paint numbers I have found are 4819 Lucite, A-1909 Rinshed-Mason and 81578 Ditzler. The question I have is how good are these numbers? These numbers are 41 years old. Will I be able to take these numbers to a automotive paint store and get Capri Cream? Roger Unreal Jul 24th, 08, 05:19 PM I took my ditzler number for Fathom Green to them and they were able to supply 2 stage equivalent. DDOLES Jul 25th, 08, 02:31 PM They should be able to cross-reference them and get you the correct color no matter what brand. if not do you still have a panel with the original color showing? if so they do have a color gun that can match just about any shade of paint |
