Are you looking at the overlap number that may be listed for the .050" duration, b/c if you are it doesn't matter near as much as the one that can be calculated from the advertised duration spec's..

What is it, intake open plus exhaust close equals advertised overlap, I think. I always have to sit down and draw me a couple of upside down lobes like on a timing card...

And generally the shorter the overlap, the lower your power production will be but LCA and ICA enters into this as well as overall advertised duration numbers for both lobes.. pdq67
