im redoing my whole electrical system and have a simple question. i have an internal regulated alternator, can i bypass the horn relay all together? and i know there is a wire harness to convert but i dont remember the company name.

You'll just need a suitable replacement distribution point for power. I've always liked the battery power distribution blocks used on mid 70's and other model year Chevy pickup trucks. It is well insullated, has two threaded studs and lots of room for several wires to exit.
