Feb 2008 Super Chevy had a 67 Camaro built by a Rich Barbara which, according to the story, was painted a 92 Chevy Truck colour call Emerald Turquoise. I have included a picture below.

I am in love with this colour and I want to paint my 68 the same. Can anyone help me with a Paint Code? What model did this colour appear on from the factory? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks very much for your help so far, but as per the earlier post, every search for this colour code, model and year turn up a blank. Any other suggestions?

Could it be this color: 1992 GM truck code 34 "light teal poly"?

Maybe someone is dyslexic and transposed the code numbers.
This 1992 GM color chip chart from PPG does not show a paint code 34, but it does show a paint code 43, Bright Aqua Poly, which looks like a match.

Typical body shop talk...... 34,43,44,33 and 7 all mean the same code :beers:

I did find a code 34 on another page, so I edited my post.
Here is the code 43 from my original post:

I had a quart of this mixed using that code 34 and if I remember correctly it was described as the light teal, I will check tonight for the western brand code that I had mixed.

Thanks for everyone's help so far.

67LSRS, have you sprayed a test panel yet? If so, could you post a pic?

Can someone post a pic of a vehicle that wears this colour from the factory (92 Chev Truck, obviously)?

I find it very difficult to select a color based on a picture in a magazine or on a website.
Here is the same car, and it looks like a different color to me. Would you be happy with this, or are you looking for the lighter shade in the first picture?

Wow, there is a real difference. Whilst I still think the darker picture looks good, it is definately the lighter of the two that appeals to me. Can anyone suggest any other colours that I should consider that are similar to the lighter of the two pictures? This is definitley the look I aspire to. Any pics and paint details would be very much appreciated.

Finding just the right colour is a lot harder than picking the engine or wheels, that's for sure!

The color is very similar to Marina blue. Also check out leman's blue.
Check out some early model chevelles such as this one that is in Marina Blue.

I know im resurecting an old post, I apologize for abandoning you guys, been away and spending alot of time at lateral-g. The different pics do change the color a lot. I also apologize for calling it emerald turqoise, that was the original color of the car and when I went to the paint supply house and looked at a sample, it was just to light for my taste. I started looking through the books with a chip of the emerald turquoise and wanted it 2 to 3 shades darker. I found code 34 - 92 chevy truck, western b7-45878 . I shot a test panel with the western brand, clear coated it, and loved it, but shot the car using debeers. It really doesn't look like marina blue its got a bit more green in it but more on the blue side. Absolutely must see in person its a killer color and awesome in low light. Im now building a 69 and dont think I will find another color that I like more, and that sucks because you got to love it before you shoot it.

Albert - hope its not to late and again my apologies - Rich
