Hy guys its Saturday and im tinkering with my wipers. They do work but, it seems as if they don't have enough power to rotate all the way threw. They will stop and then i help but it just dose not feel like the motor is turning hard enough.

Is the motor tired or is it a bad ground?

Thanks Guys enjoy your weekend. Skip

Hey Skip - a lot of possibilities, tired wiper motor, bad switch, electrical connections including the motors ground strap and dirty gummed up transmission and connections of moving parts. Even warn insulators between the motor and firewall can canter the motor and cause a bind in the movement of the transmission.

Thanks Dennis i was just out cruzzing it around my hood off (beings its at the paint shop)... The switch is new and grounded, including the motor. it feels smooth when going threw the motions (no binding) but may be a warn out motor.... First ill check the moving parts.

Is there any easy way to do this... I mean should i just install a new motor now that the hood is off?

I suck at electrical.... Story goes the old motor worked but it had no torque, so i went and bought a new wiper motor $100.00 thinking dam this is easy without the dam hood on, so i better get this together. I get the new motor home paint it and installed it and wired it the exact same as the old one (stock wiring) then i hit the switch and smoke was coming out of the motor, it didn't even turn over. No blown fuse and the lead still show power with a test light.

I pulled it back out and bench tested it with my battery charger but no luck. The shop is gonna take it back but i need to make sure my wiring is right, or the new motor was frozen i tried to turn the new motor with a wrench and it didn't move at all.

Dose anyone have a stock wiring diagram.

Thanks guys.... Just installed the second new motor and this time my wiring is correct. When i had the car painted they also painted the fire wall and must of moved the wires.

The wipers work great thanks again
