Looking for some expertise on this...I'm not familiar with it. Looked at a 68SS Camaro today and was told it was a heater delete/radio delete car. No docs other than the POP. The POP shows a radio and does not have the heater delete code on it. When I mentioned it to the seller, this is what I got back. Looking to find out if this is the way it was back then or is the POP always correct?

"As with the codes on the POP from what I was told all POP's had the radio and heat code but if it was deleted it would be on the build sheet or the order form. I have had a few with radio delete and the code was on the POP. "

Thank you.

My POP simply did not show any code for the radio.....therefore it was a
"Radio Delte"...not sure about the heater though!

All continental US cars in 68 had heaters. All.

And since it's on the POP, it had a radio.....

I figured that the POP is the actual representation of the car's build but i'm not 100% sure, that is why I posted this. We (me and the seller) just don't agree, he is convinced it's a heater delete. It's also a car that spent most of it's life in Ohio until recently. Who in Ohio would order a car with no heat? It's a well done car, getting all the parts to put heat back in is quite expensive though.

Federal law mandated defrosters in 68, hence it had to have one....
