That was a rush. I've never been to one before. It was really wild hearing my engine pull 7000+ rpms without actually going anywhere! I really think I could do that every day. My 454 pulled 684.3hp @ 7100. I was hoping to break 700hp but was running close to going over the time scheduled. May do a head swap and try again later this summer.

How about the complete specs on your 454?

Bottom end: Callies 4.00 crank (int. balance), Eagle 6.385 rods with L-19 bolts, JE +.030 pistons, Ati balancer. The cam is a Crane roller that was ordered by an engine builder near me. I'll get ya some numbers on duartion etc but lift is only slightly over .700, my springs couldn't handle much more. The Heads are Dart/SAR CNC 320's ported by SAR along with a Dart intake also ported by SAR. The heads are nearly ten years old. They are in great shape but a little dated now. Compression works out to be 14:1 with 118cc chambers.Holley 1050 carb. Roller rockers with girdles up top. Nearly half of this engine was purchased over Ebay! I'll try to get the Full specs on the cam for you soon. At this point I don't have them and hadn't really given it a thought. He picked it, I ran it! I collected parts for nearly 2 years putting this together, and I'll never do it this way again. For the same $$$ I could have gone more cubes, less compression and same HP!
