i just put my engine together a week or so ago and i have a 160 deg therastat which seems to be doing ok but one of the local guys said i should be running a 190 deg what do you think ? thanks tony

I prefer about 180, so in the winter you still have good heat etc. Sometimes a 160 might run the car to 180, just depends. How hot does it run?
