I just installed 5775 autometer narrow band guage, I know the instructions require 12 v fused source for the guage, but my question is can the sensor be hooked to 12v source unfused and constant ie juction terminal. I called autometer and since I wasnt using their 2244 O2 sensor they weren't much help. I am refering to the heater source wire. I thought it seemed OK at constant 12v to preheat etc. Sorry if I should of used elec forum. Any suggestions are appreciated. SS

If I recall..on mine I had it hooked up to constant 12v...worked perfect. I used a ford thunderbird 3 wire O2 sensor.
