I just bought a set of 17" Camaro SS wheels for my '91 RS. Now I'm trying to decided between either a 275/40/17 or a 315/35/17 rear tire. How wide is too wide? It's only a weekend car that I'll drive 99% on the street. I want as much traction as possible but I'm worried about having too wide of a tire and hurt performance. Both tires are the same diameter. What do you guys think?
