I am looking at buying some rims that are18x7 front and 20x8.5 on the rear does anyone know if this combo will work ? I have put a 1 1/2 lowering springs on front but that is all that has been done so far. It is on a 69 any help would be appriciated:beers:

Yes those sizes while not optimum can work depending on the backspace. Do you know what backspace they are? I might as well add that if the backspace is correct to make a combo like this "look good" you will need to lower the car more both front and rear. Take a look at the cars with the "big" wheels - they look so much better when the are "slammed". Hey that's just my opinion and others will differ.

Do a search on "20s" - there's a weeks worth of reading I just checked to be sure. There's lots of info on tire sizes and backspace. Hope this helps.
