I was in a bidding frenzy the other night nad ended up stopping at $7900. The auction ended at $8000 and I didn't win. The next morning I received a counter offer of $7500 because the buyer apparently had a -1 feedback and the seller did not want to bother.

To make a long story short we drove about 2 hours away and picked this mean machine for $6500.

It's no camaro but it will grab just about every persons eye. Oh and, it's a FORD :sad:

Well, :yes: it is - but, it looks more like a 'truck' to me ;)

I've got some good friends near me that are really into the 'Rat Rod' cars.
I've built a couple real 'olds-kool' engines for them and really get a kick out of working with the old speed equipment I grew up with (most of these guys are 'young-whippersnappers' :D ) and don't know which era's they're mixing parts from at times.
The multi-carbs, drag link suspension and top-loader transmissions are quite a throwback to the days when I was learning about cars from my cousin.
I would kill (or at least wound :D ) to have my dad's old 5-window that he gave to my cousin and he sold to hsi friend years ago ...

I like it too, but wont u fall through the floor...atleast it looks rust red lol. Good deal though I guess.
