My Comp Plus is pretty tired. I searched on shifters and came across the Long Brand. Has anyone used one?

Alternatively, I could buy a rebuild kit off ebay for $90-ish or send it out to be rebuilt.

IMO the Long shifter is top of the line, best shifter money can buy.
I use there V-gate on my 5 speed.

I had the pleasure of touring Mr. Long's facility with my car club last year. It was the cleanest and most modern machine shop I've ever seen. The amount of equipment there is mind boggling. He personally walked us through explaining every step in great detail. Leonard Long is a down-to-earth super nice guy. We even got to see some prototypes he's working on. He sells a lot of stuff to the Nascar boys where failure is not an option. So how bad could it be?

With my investment in my drivetrain , I want to get the Long item. I heard the reputation and appreciate the feedback. I don't have a console and hope there's no floor clearance issues.
