This first run I had traction issues. #620 The next attempt yeilded a tossed fan belt during the burnout. I had some coolant leakage which slicked up the pulleys and caused the belt to fly off. I need more 60' and i'll be well on my way to 11's.

That must of ben a good race. I wouldn't call it a bad day, just a test and tune day.
Lets see some pics.

I think your combo will go in the 11's with no problem.
Good job Jim!! You got it easy. My car runs 91.5 in the 1/8 so you just need a bit better launch and your are in the 11's for sure. Both are cars pick up the same from 1/8 to 1/4 at 23.5 mph.

Me and the wife talked about going to Edgewater tonight, but she ended up going to Lawrenceburg to the circle track races. That isn't my bag, so I stayed home with the kids. I'll have to get ahold of you when we go. Hopefully next time you'll get along a little better.

Jim. Your mph shows mid to upper 11 second potential. Get some traction and you should be all set. Once you do get traction don't be surprised if your mph doesn't pick up. Spinning usually makes for more mph. Thats what i have noticed anyway.

The car I raced was tubbed with 15" slicks, I had to let up at the launch because of spin(darn DOT's). We'll go over everything and be back for some more runs. I'll keep ya posted.

11's are no problem for your combo. You should be able to knock .30 off off your 60ft and that will put you right there.

That's a lot of tire to run 11.70's
