I've got a '95 A4 "Z" that has factory cruise. Cruise will set and hold speed indefinitely until you step on the brake or switch it off. Problem occurs when I use the accelerate function on the cruise control switch. If cruise is already set and I try to use the acc function to raise the speed a mile or two per hour it kicks the car out of cruise and I have to reset it again manually. Also, If I have to brake and then try to use that function to bring the car back to its previously set speed it wont work and I have to manually (with gas pedal) bring the car back up to speed and then reset it. I wonder if the problem is in the cruise control switch or the module, or both? I don't think that the problem is in the brake pedal switch--Any thoughts--Any one else have this problem occur? Thanks!
