What is the correct color of the stripes for a 69 BB TH400 on the driveshaft.

Fred, I think there is one drive shaft that left the factory with a gold cad stripe. :) ....sorry, it's been so long, that I just couldn't stop myself.

Joe, that's an old ball buster with Fred. I don't know anything about driveshaft markings.

Well i cleaned my shaft up and found 3 stripes, orange, green and purple.

Neither one of my drive shafts have any stripes on them and I have 2. One from a muncie tranny setup and the other for the TH400. I'd be curious to hear if there is anything else on this matter.

Funny Joe there is a thread title Caveat Emptor in the tag team area. The car in question is a totally over restored 69 Z. On the drive shaft he has an orange and green stripe. That is the only place I have ever seen stripes.

Ive found stripes on several driveshafts, but none were BB/TH400 cars.
